Bread and the Word
Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the Peace Center

Next gathering: August 16; weekly gatherings begin September 6

A potluck dinner and program open to all. An opportunity for those who appreciate a monthly chance to get together with good food, good discussion, and good fellowship. Coordinated by Susan Stouffer. Bring a friend!

Food for Thought

United Methodists at USC and United Presbyterians at USC student groups bring together a diverse group of Trojans united by the Christian Faith. We are dedicated to studying God's Word, discussing questions of belief, and strengthening our own faith through prayer and fellowship. We are sponsored by United Ministry at USC and United University Church, and offer Bible studies, discussion and prayer groups, and inter-denominational dinners with other Christian faith groups. Our events are open to all students, regardless of denomination or religious affiliation.

Food for Thought provides several opportunities each week during the academic year for fellowship, prayer, study and conversation:

Student-Led Prayer Group - Monday evenings at 5:00 p.m. in the United Ministry Lounge (University Religious Center 103)

Salad for the Soul - Noontime Bible Study for students, faculty and staff over a light and healthy salad lunch - Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m. in the United University Church Peace Center.

Food for Thought - A joint meeting of United Methodists at USC and United Presbyterians at USC for fun, friendship and stimulating conversation - Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the United Ministry Lounge (University Religious Center 103). A light dinner is usually served.

Lunch Packing for A Community Place - Join other students in preparing healthy sack lunches for distribution to people who are homeless or working poor through A Community Place - Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. in the United Ministry Lounge (University Religious Center 103)

Ecumenical Mission Student Dinner - Join students from other Christian traditions for a healthy and delicious dinner - Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Cheshire Cat (University Religious Center 108)
